Connect Beijing’s imperial center with the mountain landscape it once defended. Tour 2X1 combines a carefully timed Forbidden City visit, a transfer into the Great Wall countryside, an overnight camp and walking around Gubeikou and Jinshanling on the following day.
Give the palace visit enough time for its courtyards and architectural detail, then allow a realistic transfer into the mountains. We prioritize the cultural visit and the journey to camp, adding other Beijing sights only when the schedule permits. The proposal identifies your overnight location and the following day’s walking direction between the eastern Wall sections. A shorter evening walk can leave more time to settle into the camp and enjoy the setting.
Visit the Forbidden City on the reserved entry, then transfer to the agreed camp base. Other Beijing stops and the length of an evening walk are decided around traffic, daylight and the time needed to settle in. The proposal names the actual overnight location.
After the permitted sunrise arrangement and breakfast, explore the selected Gubeikou or Jinshanling route. The direction, distance, exit and any transfer are confirmed before booking. Return to Beijing with a realistic allowance after the walk.

Camping is arranged through the Great Wall Adventure Club team at the location and under the operating arrangements confirmed for your date. The proposal names the camp, access route, tent and sleeping equipment, meals and available facilities. An indoor alternative and any transfer are discussed before the trip; a historical watchtower photograph does not itself confirm the sleeping location.
That is not a standard promise. The arrival time, daylight and your energy determine whether the first evening includes a short walk or a longer outing. The main trekking stage can be reserved for the second day.
